Chris Cottrell
Chris works closely with business owners and our existing investments, ensuring Verde Peak acts as a trusted partner.
Chris was raised in Arizona and at an early age was inspired to public service, championing legislation in the state and studying political science at Arizona State University. After school, he came to see the private sector as the greatest force for good and joined a growing startup in Scottsdale and worked with small business owners to grow their companies, eventually leading a team of over 20 employees who oversaw $15m in annual revenue.
Chris went on to graduate school in DC, and then joined the Army as an intelligence officer, deploying in northern Iraq with US Special Operations Command. He went back to school, this time in Boston, the whole time yearning to get back to the place he always called home. Chris lives in Scottsdale, finally back in sight of the mountains.
